Oh Spanish and Common Sense!

It's amazing how God can take a crazy situation and turn it around for His good! There are so many examples of this in my life, but the one that stands out clearly to me today has to do with my Spanish test. I love the language of Spanish!! Learning it and being able to understand it has been a wonderful journey, on which I have just begun and have a long way to go! I had a break down last night over my test and felt way under-prepared and like I was looking at gibberish. Needless to say, it was not the most fun night. I went to bed tired and frustrated, determined to get up early and conquer the material on my Spanish test. I reviewed for a few minutes before my test and immediately I felt that I knew what I was looking at. Well, I show up to the test room a little before 8 a.m. (which is different from our usual classroom) and no one's in there. I start out being a little confused, but decide to walk around our building, Lile, a little more to find others trying to stay logical about all this. Luckily I find the lady giving the test in a classroom right as she's passing out a test to her students. I was beyond confused so I ask her if this is where she's giving the test, and she tells me it's not until 11. Now I'm beyond confusion, and I was a little embarrassed because the entire class of people I don't know is looking at me like I'm stupid for reading the schedule wrong! It was a mess. Luckily, the lady lets me take the test early. This was where God worked it for His good! I'm not saying that He was the one who had me read the schedule wrong or show up to class three hours early, but after my mistake, God took that and made it positive. It gave me the rest of the day to be productive and to sit at His feet. What a great God I serve! This is a little example, and probably not the best, of how God is at work and alive and active!
Today's picture, in honor of my Spanish class finally being over, is in front of Lile-my home away from home! :)

I don't have any tests tomorrow, so we'll see what crazy picture we can come up with!
